Two suites in the garden, forty steps from our own bay. In the evening, walk down to the rocks and watch the sun sink into the sea.
This has been our family's summer house since 2015. We restored it slowly, keeping what mattered: the pines, the quiet, the path down to the sea. Now we open two of its suites to guests from April to October.
Each suite has its own entrance, its own patio, and the garden between it and the water — olive trees, oleanders, and the tamarisks along the sea line.
The larger of the two. A bright living room with a full induction kitchen, a bedroom with parquet, and a deck where breakfast tends to run long. The garden around it is yours to use.
A place for reading, swimming, and not much else. A patio with a dining table and a sofa, air conditioning inside, and a table tennis table nearby if the afternoon calls for it.
At the bottom of the garden there is a small rocky bay, and it is ours. The water is clear enough to count the stones. Bring a mask; the fish are used to us.
Each suite has its own chairs and umbrella down there, every day of the stay. Swim, read, paddle out on a SUP — there is no one to share it with.
The bay is rock, not sand — water shoes help. Swimming is unsupervised.
Booking through our own site means no platform fees on either side. The difference stays between us — in your rate, and in what we can offer when you arrive.
We would rather you know the place as it is. These are the things we always say up front.

Via Aurelia has no sidewalk, so a car is the way to get around. Parking is on the property.
Wi-Fi comes by satellite and can occasionally waver. Phone signal is thin in the house, good in the garden and at the bay.
They are small and well behaved. We mention them because not everyone loves dogs — fair enough.
In the main months we're on-site too. Some guests like to chat, some prefer not to see us at all. Tell us which you are.
Beautiful, clear, and made of rock. Water shoes make it easy. Swimming is at your own risk — there's no lifeguard.
Half at reservation, the rest 60 days before arrival. Cancel 60 days out and every euro comes back. Most stays begin at three nights.
Isabella and Mario made this place for the family — a house between the sea and the garden, restored with patience and kept simple on purpose. The character stayed; the standards rose.
Days here don't need planning. Light, space, quiet, and the sea always in view. We're around when you need us and invisible when you don't. When we recommend a restaurant, it's because we ate there last week.
Isabella, Mario, Elena & Tommasolook forward to welcoming you
The house sits between Quercianella and Castiglioncello — Mastroianni and Fellini's old summer haunt. From the gate, the best of the coast and the hills are within reach.
A few weeks remain open this season — most stays begin at three nights. We'd be glad to have you.
